Louisiana Service Territory
Atmos Energy delivers natural gas to approximately 360,000 customers in 270 Louisiana communities. This makes Atmos Energy the largest natural gas provider in the state. We provide natural gas to the cities of Lafayette, Monroe and communities outside New Orleans, including Metairie and the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain.

Our Service Territory
Atmos Energy has grown from 279,000 customers in 1983 to more than 3.3 million customers today – mainly by acquiring utility assets. The company has regulated utility operations in Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. We are the largest natural gas distributor in the states of Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. We work closely with our state and federal regulators to operate a safe and reliable natural gas system.
