Jamie Davis, a Tensas Parish farmer, businessman and former member of the Tensas Parish Police Jury, is running for U.S. Senate in Louisiana in the November 3, 2026, general election. His campaign promotes a message of “Louisiana First” and focuses on making life more affordable for Louisiana families.
According to his campaign website, Davis is emphasizing lower health-care, insurance and utility costs, good-paying jobs, stronger schools, rural communities, affordable health care and protecting family farmland. His campaign also says he does not accept corporate PAC money and reports an average campaign donation of $18.
Davis says his background as a farmer, business owner and local public official has shaped his approach to government and his emphasis on what he describes as common-sense solutions. His campaign website states that he won the Democratic primary in all 64 Louisiana parishes and will face the Republican nominee in the November 3 general election.
