Hot August Night returns to Downtown Hammond on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Inspired by the original vision established in 1995, this year’s event is designed to reconnect the community with the people, businesses and culture that make Downtown Hammond a destination. Hot August Night returns as a ticketed Downtown Tasting Tour through participating downtown businesses, inviting guests ages 21 and older to enjoy curated beverage samples at 20 tasting stops while exploring locally owned shops, restaurants and businesses. Throughout the evening, dozens of local businesses will feature live music, local art, and special promotions.

Start your evening at Railroad Park, where Tasting Tour check-in begins at 4 p.m. Join us for LionPawLooza at 5 p.m., then celebrate Will Vance & the Kinfolk’s 15th anniversary performance at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to stop by the Hammond Regional Arts Center to experience Homecoming, the latest exhibition by Hammond native and acclaimed Nashville photographer Robby Klein.

We encourage guests to purchase tickets early. Presale tickets go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 4, for $30 (plus tax and fees). This year, tickets are available exclusively through participating downtown businesses. Simply find an event poster in downtown, scan the QR code, and purchase your tickets.
