Location & Contact: While administrative paperwork, sign-ups, and the primary warehouse are centralized at the Hammond address, local food distributions are brought directly up to a satellite location in Kentwood, LA 70444.
Operating Hours: The Kentwood mobile/satellite branch operates every 1st Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
How Kentwood Residents Get Food Assistance
Since Kentwood relies on a monthly satellite distribution, you must coordinate your pickup through the main office or online portal:
1. Sign Up or Renew Online: You can submit or update an application using the official Our Daily Bread Food Help Portal.
2. Assign Your Pantry Location: When applying, you can specify that your closest parish distribution point is the Kentwood site so your monthly box is loaded onto the correct Saturday delivery vehicle.
3. Bring Documentation: Ensure you have a photo ID and proof of residency in Tangipahoa Parish (like an electric bill or lease agreement) when setting up your account.
