Movie Night Under The Stars
Event Description
We’re excited to invite you to Hammond Rotary’s Movie Night Under the Stars on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Cate Square Park in downtown Hammond!
PLEASE NOTE: The Hammond Downtown Development District’s Stary Night will be held on November 20th – the day before Movie Night. Think of it as a Holiday Downtown Double Header!
The Kids’ Activities will take place from 4:00–6:00 p.m., giving families plenty of time to enjoy fun activities and visit with Santa in the park before settling in for the movie.
The Rotary Club will be providing a concession stand, so please no outside food. We welcome you and your family to bring chairs, blankets, and cash or credit cards to this fun annual event!
The event features a family-friendly holiday film shown on very large inflatable outdoor movie screen. This year’s movie will be selected by our fans on Facebook by TBA. The movie is a community vote between The Santa Clause 2, The Star, The Grinch, and Christmas with the Kranks. Please place your vote on our Facebook page
In addition of several food and beverage options promises to make the event even bigger draw than last year.

Rotary Club of Hammond Collecting Food Donations for Roomie’s Pride Pantry at Movie Night Under the Stars
The Rotary Club of Hammond is asking community members attending **Movie Night Under the Stars** to bring food donations to benefit Roomie’s Pride Pantry at Southeastern Louisiana University.
The event offers an opportunity for families and friends to enjoy an evening of outdoor entertainment while supporting an important cause: helping Southeastern students who face food insecurity.
Roomie’s Pride Pantry provides food and other essential items to help eligible members of the Southeastern community meet their basic needs. Donations from local residents can help keep the pantry stocked and provide valuable assistance to students as they pursue their education.
The Rotary Club of Hammond encourages everyone attending Movie Night Under the Stars to bring a food donation and help make a difference in the lives of Southeastern students. It is a simple way for the community to come together, enjoy a movie, and support a worthy cause.
